OBJECTIVES:

  1. To improve skill levels throughout the Club.
  2. Increase the size of the club in all the age groups we play - particularly the Colt sides.
  3. Practice our code of ethics.
  4. Have fun doing it.

 

COACHES BRIEFING:

End of Season 2008

What a magnificent season and thanks to those who joined the Aberdeen Festival yesterday.

We are now in our off season until September although Head Coaches will in due course hear from Carl and myself with regards to next season planning including equipment, coaching teams, Club Management roles etc.

For those not returning, our thanks for your wonderful selfless contributions – you make the Club what it is – and you go with our very best wishes and we will keep you posted of your former charges’ progress to Representative and National rugby! Your efforts have ensured that Valley Fort has a substantial player base, successful on and off the field, as well as a great and family oriented reputation; those remaining and joining will endeavour to continue the good work and take the Club forward as there are many things still to work on.

INFO / UPDATES:

We have finalised the process of getting our previous links with Valley RFC put down into a formal cohesive structure which will be a great benefit to our standards of coaching and playing across all levels of the club. It essentially provide the framework for a child to play rugby at mini / youth and senior levels with seamless transition.
